Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Hungary Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Hungary showcased varied performance trends across the top five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a consistent presence in the market with weekly downloads fluctuating between approximately 4.5K and 5.9K. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, ranging from around 41K to 44K throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at about 9.6K at the beginning of July and dropping to 3K by the end of September. However, the app saw a positive trend in weekly active users, growing from 107K to over 131K by the end of the quarter.

Oszkar telekocsi showed a modest download rate, with numbers ranging from 521 to 784 weekly downloads. Despite the fluctuations, the app maintained a steady presence in the market.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a relatively low download count, starting at 657 and decreasing to 352 by the end of September. Its weekly active users remained stable, ranging between 1.5K and 1.8K throughout the quarter.

Finally, Evignet24 experienced a downward trend in downloads, beginning the quarter with 775 downloads and ending with 310. Despite this decline, the app continues to hold its position in the market.
